There are those of us who love memorable experiences… and then, there are those boring, bourgeois or wild animals we call friends. If you’re an adventure seeker like me, ditch those buzz killers and let’s swim with the sharks, feed the swimming pigs, jet ski in the open ocean, island hop for a weekend, dive off a cliff into a blue hole, eat some local delicacies and shot some ridiculously strong and well-aged rums. Dammit, let’s live like we’re dying! And of course, may we live to post our pictures on every social media platform with the hash tag #ExperienceEverythingLocal

One would have to admit that the previous read (The Adventure Seeker) was, how should I put it nicely, unbecoming. What those adventure seekers are yet to appreciate, are the finer things in life. We, sophisticated folks, share an appreciation for spas, fine dining, the theatre, musical performances, wine tasting, art, private planes, private yachts and private islands. That, there my friend, is what we partake in here in these Bahama Islands.  The good life! Worthy of the hashtag # ExperienceEverythingLocal

Pardon I still! But it come like the two of y’all don’t get it. This is The Bahamas and culturally, as a people, we are very social. We love to meet up, catch up, grab a drink, grab a bite and just chill. I’m telling y’all, there are thousands of people who just want to enjoy the company of others, laughing and telling jokes or stories. For us social bugs, we want to know what’s happening on the weekend. We want to try new social spots and be in the know.
