Regattas are a time for boat builders to showcase their best boat-building skills, and put their vessels up against one another for the ultimate test of speed, agility and refined, Bahamian craftsmanship. There’s also a no better time to experience unique Bahamian culture, delicious local eats and family-filled fun!

The National Family Island Regatta represents traditional Bahamian sloop sailing at its best. The National races that take place in Elizabeth Harbor, Exuma annually during the last full weekend of April is the gathering of many Bahamian boater builders and sailors to compete to be the best of the best in their class.
